By popular request, we’re thrilled to announce that you can now ‘solo’ audio channels in the Ci Preview Player! Customers with the ‘Audio Mixer’ entitlement can now mute and solo individual audio channels when previewing audio and video files uploaded to their Workspaces.
This feature is available for Company Network customers and is applied at the Company Network level across all Workspaces. Please contact Ci Customer Success for a demo or to enable it on your Network. Now let's show you how it works:
Open File Preview
After the entitlement is enabled, navigate to a Workspace, upload a video or audio file, and wait until processing is completed (Note: Only files that are uploaded after the entitlement is enabled will have the ability to solo & mute audio channels as seen below). Next, open the file for preview, and select the Media Analysis icon near the bottom-right corner of the player:

Open the Audio Mixer
To open the audio mixer for video files, simply select the dropdown menu in the Media Analysis modal and select Audio Mixer:

Solo & Mute Channels
If the user is previewing audio, these files will default to the Audio Mixer tool when Media Analysis is selected. Solo enables the user to focus on one track without distractions. Mute allows the user to instantly silence specific channels. In order to mute a channel, select the icon. To solo a channel, select the
icon:

Multiple Channel Preview Support
The Audio Mixer is able to display multiple audio channels for both video & audio files. For a high number of channels, users can scroll to the right within the Audio Mixer modal as shown below:
