DaVinci Resolve users now have a powerful new tool at their disposal with the integration of our Ci Media Cloud Panel, bringing seamless cloud-based collaboration directly into the popular editing software. This new panel allows editors, colorists, and post-production teams to effortlessly upload, manage, and edit media without ever leaving DaVinci Resolve. By streamlining workflows and enhancing accessibility, this integration bridges the gap between local editing environments and cloud-based media management, making it easier than ever to collaborate on projects from anywhere.

Getting Content into Resolve
Upon selecting a Workspace, the user will see the folder tree navigation on the left side of the panel, and the majority of the page will display their folders and files. To add content to the project, simply drag-and-drop files from the panel into the timeline, or into the Media Pool directory:

In this demonstration, the default settings are utilizing the highest proxy resolution available for each file that is added to the project. If the user wants to work with a different proxy resolution, they can adjust this manually by opening the file for preview > click the Import tab > select the desired proxy > and click Confirm to import the new resolution. Afterwards, the asset in the project will reflect the new resolution automatically:

In order to modify the proxy resolution for multiple assets in the project, the user will need to open the Media Pool Manager. Once inside the modal, the user has the option to multi-select files, and search for files using the search bar at the top. The dropdown menu at the bottom allows the user to import 3 different resolutions: Original, Highest, and Lowest. After the user selects an option and clicks Save, all of the files in the project will reflect new resolution automatically.
This functionality allows users to edit with the lowest possible proxy across their Ci assets, and before they render the project, they can switch to the highest proxy resolution with a single button:
